Was Superbowl Sunday the talk of Sunday, February 12, 2023, or was it Rihanna’s halftime show that stole the spotlight? Regardless of the why or what, there was a lot of joking, projecting, and overall judgment throughout the event. And not just on the gameplay. Of course, it is easy to place judgment and create our own narratives based on the content consumed via social media. Whether that be Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook it is easy to take whatever narrative we fabricate or believe, and run with it without fact-checking or accessing how the commentary may affect the individual being discussed.

What are you willing to follow, believe, or say? There have been rumors saying that Rihanna will be releasing new music even after all these years. With the announcement of her halftime performance and the event finally occurring, the Navy (Rihanna’s fan base) and those simply tuning in had a lot to say. The responses throughout the year have varied and people that have heard her sing have questioned if she can even sing for real.
